He lives right here in town, but he's been all over the globe. Sean Michel has a passion for spreading God's Word, and he does it well through his music. Over the summer, I first learned of a new project Sean and the band would be doing where they took the gospel message and set it to a blues groove. 

Yeah, the idea sounded a little off to me, but it worked! The guys had the problem of getting enough money to record some new songs in the Delta - with that Delta sound - so they looked to a fairly new website called Indiegogo.com. 

This site helped them to raise money and awareness for their new album, as well as sell some music to their faithful fans before even recording it. A few days ago, Sean Michel and the band held an album release party at Sticky Fingers in Little Rock's River Market area. The place was packed and the sound was the happenins.
