This town of Texola, (currently Arkansas) has been moved back and forth between OK and AR due to surveying. Hopefully now with geopositioning it will remain in AR.

I think it was THV CHANNEL 11's weekly review that has an article on children in need of adoption. I don't know what I expected to see when I clicked on the photo link to these children. There are so many gorgeous teens and younger who are honor roll students. A lot of the kids are described as well behaved, likes to help. I suppose I thought all of them would be so needy: mentally, emotionally, physically. …See More

A cold front in the northwest corner of Arkansas will move a little

I have always been thankful for what I have and it has increased throughout my life:
- I have always had a family who cared for me.
- I have always lived in a free country. Why I was born in the USA, I don't know. But thank you, God.
- I have always had an army who defended me. Thanks to all those millions of men and women since 1946 and before. We had founding fathers who gave this place its start. That was for you and me.
- I have known Jesus as my Saviour…
