- I was born and raised in what is now known as Helena-West Helena, AR. Small town but when you live in a small town, you know e'rbody and e'rthing that is going on.
I did a college stint in Jonesboro. Relatively short lived and I was home SICK!
I sometimes kick it in Nashville - ARKANSAS. Yes, there is a Nashville in Arkansas. They are famous for dinosaur prints and chickens best I can tell. Another small town - we go there because that's where DIL (daddy in law for you lay people) lives. Country livin at it best - at least country visitin.
I love going to Hot Springs. Don't ask me why, I just do. So I do!

- Now, that would be telling my age! Just say my whole life.
- What kind of work do you do? If you're a student or a retiree, tell what you want to do, or what you used to do.
- I am one of those state government employees that so many people moan, groan and gripe about for one reason or the other. That's what I have done for most of my grown up life. Eh, it's a job and while the pay is not what people seem to think it is, at least I have benefits.

I am at the point in my life where I can go do things. My husband has found a way to occupy a lot of his time (working on race cars). The kids have their own things going on and I don't have to find a babysitter. Admittedly, this is a new to-do for me, really. As I peruse the web and try to figure out something to do during my down time aka "Tha Weekend" I must first check out the weather. If you believe the forecast, it's gonna rain. Oh yea, 'tis the monsoon season in Arkansas. Trying not to do much belly achin about it because it won't be long before it's hotter'n Hades an the only water to be found will be at the river, lake, pond or pool.
