It's so much easier for folks to keep up with who's saying what, and what personality each person has when members have taken a minute to change from the default image on their profile. It's called an avatar or an icon. It's your profile picture. We're going to change it now, in 8 steps - maybe less! Here we go...
1. If you already have an image on your computer that you want to use, skip to #4. Otherwise, go to
http://images.google.com
2. Search for whatever type of picture you'd like. I searched for "avatars" and got a great bunch of good pictures. I put some at the bottom of this post for your convenience!
3. Right-click on the image you like and save it to a folder you can find again easily.
4. If your image isn't square, or if you only want part of your image, I suggest going to
http://www.picresize.com to crop, resize and make other edits online and then save.
5. Sign into your MySaline.com account, then click the Settings link near the top of the left column.
6. At the top of the My Settings page, click on Choose File, then go to that folder that you were supposed to remember how to find.
7. Did you find it? Okay, now double-click it to put it in cue for upload.
8. Scroll down two or three times and click SAVE, otherwise, you've only been practicing.
Now that you have such fabulous instructions, I do hope that you'll put on your best face! I'm looking forward to it.
Just right-click one of these and save it!
